I would like to preface this feedback by stating that I have been a loyal customer of JD Service for over 10 years. However, I have become increasingly concerned about the decline in the quality of service. During my recent visit, I was informed by Kevin that my scheduled maintenance would be skipped because I supposedly missed my one-year mark. I had called in August/September to schedule my appointment, but due to your shop’s limited availability, the earliest date offered to me was last week. Fortunately, the manager intervened to ensure I wasn’t charged, but this took nearly 20 minutes while my mother and baby were left waiting. I then attempted to pick up a loaner car, which I had reserved to because of my schedule, as I needed to drop off my baby and attend meetings. Eric informed me that there was no reservation for a loaner due to an error made by whoever took my call when booking my appointment. I had waited specifically for this reservation to secure a loaner because of my baby, so learning that my reservation had been “lost” was particularly frustrating. After some back and forth, he eventually provided a loaner, but between Kevin telling me I had to pay and this, the whole process took over 30 minutes to resolve issues that were not my fault. The most frustrating part came later in the day when Kevin called around 2 p.m. to inform me that my car was ready. When I arrived after 3:15 p.m., I was asked to wait another 10-15 minutes, only to be told that the car wash was broken, and he owed me one. After spending hours of my time and arriving to find my car not ready, I left with a dirty vehicle and a sense of disappointment. As a working mother, my time is incredibly limited and valuable, and this experience has left me frustrated and dissatisfied. I have purchased and serviced all my vehicles at JD for years, but this has been my worst experience yet. With so many other Volkswagen service centers available, I am seriously reconsidering my loyalty. Maybe it’s time to move on.. I hope you take this feedback will be taken seriously and help make improvements in your service for future customers.
