    I brought my 2024 Tiguan in for an oil change and stated that it was using oil after only 18,000 miles. (I had the oil change at 10,000 miles) I asked for a diagnostic be performed on my engine. I understand in the past years that the PCV valve fail and cause the engine to use oil. I was told that it used only 1 quart of oil in 8000 miles and this was within specifications. They stated the spec was 1 quart of oil between 1000 and 2000 miles. First of all I never owned a car that used oil after only 18,000 miles. Also, if this is the spec I could go through 5-10 quarts of oil between my 10,000-schedule oil change. This is not acceptable.

    The video you sent diagnosing issues and detailing was hard to hear and understand. My main issue has now been dismissed 2 times and while I understand that if it isn't sending a code, you can't figure out the issue, I am frustrated with the fact this remains an ongoing issue, it is prevalent among this model all over the internet and nobody seems to want to help remedy this while it is under warranty. When we went to pick up the car, I understand you are under tight quarters due to the remodel, but we were sent to two wrong counters- bounced between service and parts and the gentleman who rang us out was basically clueless as to what he was doing. Nobody went out to get the car and we were waiting for quite some time- the regular gentleman saw us and went to get the car and offered us exceptional service. Unfortunately, i don't know his name. Overall, this just cements how much I detest dealing with your service dept. It is hard to get an apt, you never have a loaner and compared to the other cars models we own- VW just doesn't compare. This is not a reflection of the people working (with the exception of the person who rang us out) but from corporate. Your workers are doing the best with what they have but they are under such restrictions it makes the service barely available.

    Choose five stars because we are so happy with our purchase and first experience with Volkswagen. Jett was beyond helpful in getting my mom adjusted to her new car and was extremely patient answering all her questions.
